GEOGRAPHY
Kerala, which lies on the Southwestern tip of India, is commonly called the tropical paradise of India. This south Indian state lies within east longitudes 74 degree 52 and 72 degree 22 and north latitudes 8 degree 18 and 12 degree 48. Kerala, referred as “God’s own country” is a tropical Eden with the spell-binding beauty of golden coastlines edged with abundant coconut trees, the rocky Terra firma of the Western Ghats, the cerulean lagoons and the bountiful rivers and waterfalls with remarkable flora and fauna. Kerala stretches from north to south along the coast line of 580 kms with an approximate breadth of 35 to 120 kms
CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
Bounded by Arabian Sea at one side and the Western Ghats on the other, the beautiful land with stunning beauty has an equable and tropical climate offering a pleasing atmosphere throughout the entire year. There is no distinct difference in the climatic conditions only with the increase in humidity. This coastal state has hot and humid climate during April-May and pleasant, cold climate in December-January. The temperature reaches to a maximum of 33 degrees centigrade. The minimum temperature remains within 20 degree centigrade at sea level

Hinduism is the religion of the majority, Christianity followed by a quarter of its population was brought here by Apostle St. Thomas, while Arab traders in the seventh century introduced Islam. MALAYALAM is the official regional language and English is widely spoken. The Population is 31.839 Million and the literacy is over 90.92 percent.

- Nudity is not allowed in any beaches and public places. In addition, smoking is prohibited in public places
